FIELD: devices for measurement of magnetic susceptibility of matter. SUBSTANCE: device has generator, receiving and two compensating coils. Axes of all the coils are parallel, belong to the same plane and are perpendicular to the surface of the base mounted in parallel to the surface of tested matter. Device also has sine voltage generator, two amplifying-converting circuits, circuit for selecting maximum signal and registrar. Outputs of generator coil are connected with sine voltage generator. One output of receiving coil is connected to common bar, the other output is integrated with outputs of compensating coils. Free outputs of compensating coils are connected to inputs of amplifying-converting circuits which have outputs connected with corresponding inputs of the circuit for selecting maximum signal; output of the circuit for selecting is connected with register. Device provides very small dependence of signal on distance from centers of the coils to surface of tested matter when that distance is changed in wide range. Testing may be conducted by contact-free method during movement of vehicle filled with ferrous-contained rocks. EFFECT: improved precision of measurement of magnetic susceptibility and magnetic testing. 3 dwg
