FIELD: operative monitoring of quality of iron ore raw materials in conveyer flows, applicable in concentration processes. SUBSTANCE: induction probing device has five pairs of similar pickup and generating coils, one main and one compensation coil in each pair, making up two induction probes compensated relative to the primary field with common generating coils aligned with the pickup coils of the first probe. The pickup coils of the second probe are positioned at a similar distance on both sides of the generating coils on condition of matching of the maximum of the geometric factor of the second probe with the maximum of the geometric factor of the first probe. The first and second pairs of the generating coils are positioned symmetrically relative to the pickup coils of the first probe installed in the line of symmetry. The first and second pairs of the pickup coils of the second probe are installed in alignment with the pairs of the generating coils. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the device characteristics and accuracy of induction measurements due to simplified construction and adaptability to manufacture. 3 dwg, 1 tbl
