FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and systems for measuring variable magnetic quantities and can be used to control quality of ore on a conveyor belt. Essence of the invention is in the fact that the system for monitoring the quality of ore on a conveyor belt comprises a device for monitoring the quality of ore on a conveyor belt, which consists of a lever and a measuring head, wherein the lever comprises a body and a spring configured to press the measuring head to the conveyor belt, and the measuring head comprises a magnetic susceptibility sensor consisting of an alternating current generator, a generator coil, a receiving coil, a signal processing unit from the receiving coil and a wheel, wherein the wheel provides a constant distance from the measuring head to the conveyor belt, a conveyor belt speed sensor, conveyor scales, as well as a temperature sensor, a data processing server and an operator monitor, wherein the data processing server is configured to receive data from the magnetic susceptibility sensor, analyse the obtained data, output them to the monitor of the operator and calibrate the magnetic susceptibility sensor based on data from the temperature sensor, the belt speed sensor and the conveyor balances.
