FIELD: searching for underground waters. SUBSTANCE: method involves the steps of: discriminating circular structures having at the boundary of inner and outer portions submerged basement blocks overlapped by sedimentary mantle on the base of remote investigations results, determining within these structures depth heat flow outlet portions located on arc fractures or on systems of conjugated tectonic fissures of extension of at least 0.5 km, carrying out magnetic survey on the discriminated portions, delineating zone of invasion and drilling boreholes according to location of the portions characterized by transition of positive magnetic field intensity value through zero to negative ones.
