Abstract RU 2201604 C1

FIELD: search for oil and gas in regions with widely developed vegetation. SUBSTANCE: proposed method can be employed both at stage of search operations and at stage of delineation of deposits by exploratory drilling. Hydrocarbon structure is exposed within bounds of aureole of cedar growing by single exploratory wells. If presence of hydrocarbons is confirmed exploratory drilling is used to outline deposit inside aureole of cedar growing and probable resources are calculated. EFFECT: diminished expenses for search of deposits of oil and gas due to reduced extent of expensive seismic prospecting operations at stage of search for oil and gas bearing structures, decreased extent of exploratory drilling at stage of delineation of hydrocarbon deposit.
