FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: device for regulating water level in hydraulic structures has water outlet pipe 1 placed between upper and lower ponds and carrying on its outlet connection chamber 2. Additional pipe 5 is installed for displacement along tubular guide 6; upper ends of pipes 1 and 3 are joined together through bellows 3. Float 4 is fitted on bottom end of additional pipe 5. As water level in tailrace canal rises, float 4 goes up with the result that upper end of pipe 5 is pressed to cover of chamber 2 and flow area of pipe 1 is closed. As water level in tailrace canal decreases, float 4 goes down with the result that flow area of pipe 1 opens and water flows down over it. In this way water level is automatically maintained constant in hydraulic structure. EFFECT: improved reliability. 1 dwg
