FIELD: electric machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: thyratron motor has power supply source 1 to which output capacitive storage 2 is connected. Three branches each consisting of two chokes 3-8 of different inductance connected in series are linked to positive terminal of power supply source. Diodes 9, 10, 11 are connected in parallel to chokes 3, 5, 7 of greater inductance. Other leads-out of chokes 4, 6, 8 are connected to collector inputs of transistor frequency converter and anodes of diodes 12, 13, 14 which cathodes are coupled to second capacitive storage 32. Outputs of transistor frequency converter are connected to electromechanical converter. EFFECT: expanded range of control of rotational speed of motor. 3 cl, 4 dwg
