FIELD: meteorology. SUBSTANCE: technical result of this method is creation of an ordered size artificial cloud from limited mass of a liquid or paste reactant. The cloud is made by controlled one-moment action on the reactant in a closed scope by pulses of matching and counter directed forces, that provide dispersion of the reactant in the plane, that is perpendicular to directions of these forces action. The artificial cloud has a disk or separated beams structure with ordered way of alternation of beams place and intensity and ordered way of reactant dispersion ( from parts of one meter per second up to several kilometers per second ). Apparatus for this method has a reservoir for the reactant, in the middle of case height of which there is " a weak point" in the form of groove 4 or window with membranes of calibrated thickness and there are compressed gas controlled source power matching parts 6, mounted on the reservoir butt faces 2 and 3. Charges of pyrotechnic explosives or high pressure store elements may be used as the controlled pressure gas source. EFFECT: artificial clouds may be used for active influence on the atmospheric processes. 4 cl, 1 dwg
