METHOD OF TREATING CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM BRONCHIAL ASTHMA IN PAROXYSMAL PERIOD Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: for cupping attack of bronchial asthma, child patient was placed partial decontamination in gnotobiological chamber in laminar air flow in zone characterized by 1-st air purity class and standardized microclimate parameters and then of zones of 2-nd and 3-rd air purity classes. No medicines were given to patient who was reliably isolated from adverse effects of both organic and inorganic environmental factors that were likely to either provoke or maintain bronchial obstruction and addition of superinfection. Consecutively placing patient in zones of different air purity classes, after fit was relieved, accelerates adaptation to environment. EFFECT: shorter period of treating bronchial asthma in paroxysmal period and extended remission.
