FIELD: parachute engineering. SUBSTANCE: complex comprises paraplane 1, suspension system 2, paraplane separating locks 3 and emergency parachute in pack 5. Pins 8 of paraplane separating lock 3 are secured to free ends 7 of emergency parachute therefore, when the latter gets filled with air, the paraplane is disconnected automatically. There is practically no loss of altitude for non-controllable descent when steerable gliding parachute is used as an emergency one. EFFECT: reliability of complex improved by reducing the actions of paraplane pilot in case of paraplane collapse only to activating the emergency parachute. 8 dwg
