FIELD: airborne training simulators.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of simulators for parachutists and can be used to train parachute jumps. The device for simulating a parachute jump consists of an instructor's workstation and trainees' workstation. The instructor's workstation comprises a microphone system, a control computer and a switchboard. Each of the trainee workstations comprises a simulator frame, a control cabinet, a trainee station computer, a parachute harness backpack, and video cameras. The simulator frame comprises electric drives, chain transmission of electric drives, simulator frames with counterweights and a height-adjustable track with a moving belt. The backpack of the parachute suspension system comprises a link for manual deployment of the main parachute system, a link for manual deployment of the backup parachute system, an altimeter simulator, virtual reality glasses, devices for fixing the trainee's back with a drive for its rotation and a frame of risers and slings. The frame of risers and slings comprises control carriages, risers, control links and control slings. The instructor's and trainee's workstations are connected to each other via a local area network.
EFFECT: level of airborne training of trainees is increased.
