FIELD: production of aluminium. SUBSTANCE: bus arrangement of powerful aluminium electrolyzers at their longitudinal location in housing consists of anode buses, risers located at inlet and outlet ends of cathode casing and cathode rods divided into groups each of which is connected with individual stack of cathode buses; cathode bus stacks of groups of rods nearest to inlet end of cathode casing are connected with risers at beginning of longitudinal sides of cathode casing and other groups of cathode rods are connected with risers located along longitudinal sides of cathode casing of subsequent electrolyzer. To enhance compensation of magnetic field of adjacent row of electrolyzers, group of cathode rods located at outlet end to the right of cathode casing in way of current direction is connected with left-hand inlet riser and the same group of cathode rods at the left side is connected with outlet riser located on the left side of cathode casing and is connected with right-hand anode bus at point dividing its length at ratio of 4: 1.
