FIELD: power plants. SUBSTANCE: annular nozzle consists of bell mouth 1 and center body 2 with inserts 4 and 5 whose surfaces facing the bore cylindrical in shape and their width is equal to 1 to 3 of the bore. During operation of nozzle, material ablation process is started at entry of flow to critical area and moves forward in direction of motion of flow; ablation process moves forward over cylindrical surfaces of inserts with time and minimum bore remains constant until entire cylindrical surface has been ablated. EFFECT: enhanced power characteristics of engine due to reduced losses caused by nozzle material ablation in throat section. 2 cl, 1 dwg
