FIELD: auxiliary solid-propellant rocket engines used for creating control forces. SUBSTANCE: engine includes housing with propellant charge 2 located inside it, nozzle 3 with throat section; nozzle face 4 mounted at angle relative to longitudinal axis of housing 1; nozzle face 4 forms chamber between its inner surface and end surface of charge 2; before-nozzle volume is also included there. Part of inner surface of face 4 is provided with projection 6 which separates before-nozzle volume from chamber of face 4. Before-nozzle volume has form of part of sphere and cylindrical section engageable with surface of projection 6. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
