FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: joint has male and female part conjugated surface of which has cross-sections made of successively repeated sections which are circumscribed by arcs of circumference, eccentrically with respect to geometric axis of the joint, smoothly conjugated with each other, and arranged over periphery with angle step α=360°/n= 360/n, where n is the number of the sections. Centers of curvatures of the circumferences of each section of surfaces of male and female parts, which are correspond to each other, are coincident and arranged over periphery with a radius which is equal to the eccentricity for providing self-wedging the parts with self-braking. Ends of each arc of the circumference are positioned at different distances from geometric axis of the joint. End of the arc, which is positioned at minimum distance from the axis of the joint, is conjugated with the end of the other arc, which is positioned at maximum distance from the axis.
