FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detachable joints designed for transmission of torque and it can be used in connections of machines, instruments and equipment. Proposed key joint includes enclosing and enclosed parts and intermediate part which is key. Enclosing and enclosed parts are provided with cylindrical sections with one axis of curvature-geometric axis of connection. Enclosing and enclosed parts are provided with additional sections of cylindrical surfaces whose geometric axes are displaced relative to each other and geometric axis of joint. Key is fitted in clearance formed by additional sections of enclosing and enclosed parts. Key is essentially curvilinear wedge with two cylindrical surfaces, outer and inner ones, aligned with inner surface of additional section of enclosing part and outer surface of additional section of enclosed part, respectively.
