FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device, whose schematic circuit diagram is shown on the drawing, has a differential inductive pickup, bridge circuit connected to whose two branches are pickup coils 1 and 3, and to the two other branches - balancing resistors 2 and 4, power supply 5 connected across the diagonally opposite pair of supply junctions of the bridge circuit, wattmeter used as a signal indicator whose current coil 6 is connected across the diagonally opposite pair of measuring junctions of the bridge circuit directly, or, with the aim of enhancing the bridge circuit sensitivity, via current transformer 8 the voltage coil of wattmeter 7 is connected across the diagonally opposite pair of supply junctions of the bridge circuit. Selection of resistance values balancing resistors 2 and 4 minimizes the travel measurement error by decreasing the influence of instability of resistances of the pickup coils. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy. 2 cl, 1 dwg
