FIELD: fishery. SUBSTANCE: device has two parallel lead screws and two carriages in mesh with them. Each carriage is provided with a pair of vertical rolls. The carriage closer to the drum is provided with a gear for vertical motion of the rolls. Those of the other carriage are fixed on it. The distance between inner generating lines of the fixed rolls is longer than that between the outer generating lines of the movable rolls. The carriages have drives designed for both autonomous reciprocal movement and movement in synchronism. The device allows various trawls to be placed on net drums differing in length of their niches.
