FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary psychotherapeutical treatment with patient alert, reinforcing and strengthening the motivation for throwing down weight by verbal suggestion, then bringing the patient to the state of meditation, applying auto-heterosuggestive effect, inspiring indifferent attitude towards food, arousing anorexically-disphagial sensations and intensifying them by mechanical stimulation of the anterior projection of stomach and esophagus, repeating this procedure after 1-2 days and beginning next procedure by administering acupuncture or acupressure to the reflexogenic zones or points of hypotalamo-hypophysial system, vegetative nervous system and gastroenteric tract, calculating the flesh-losing program (including loss of weight during the first two procedures), combining it with the program of putting the patient into meditative state, and repeating the autoheterosuggestive treatment against the background of stimulation of reflexogenic zones. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
