FIELD: psychotherapeutical methods.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for correcting weight of the human body. When analyzing anamnesis and performing questioning, disorders of eating behavior associated with emotional discomfort are revealed. After conclusion of contract, three psychotherapeutical sessions are performed comprising rational psychotherapy making patient realize the problem. Active positive, socially significant motivation to achieve final effect is formed, namely decrease of the weight by predetermined number of kilos over a given period of time according to a diet agenda. In the first psychotherapeutical session, patient is immersed into trans state and suggestion session is carried out. Second psychotherapeutical session is carried out using neurolinguistic program. Governed by psychotherapist, patent imagine "a part of personality". After that, psychotherapist comes into communication with this "part of personality", activates patient's attention on desired result, and fixes arising physiological reactions by means of tactile contact. Further, relationship with some physical sensations corresponding to negative or positive response and their appearance in the "part of personality" is outlined when tactile contact is fulfilled. Patient is given proposal to choose new behavior ways and physician receives agreement from the "part of personality" to be responsible for this function, which agreement is tracked by physician after physiological manifestations and fixed by a conventional tactile contact. Physician proposes then to patient new ways of reacting in stress situations. Patient analyses them and chooses at least three most reliably achievable ways and "part of personality" assumes responsibility for automatic realization of these new ways of eating behavior in the further patient's life. Positive response from the "part of personality" concludes the second physiotherapy session. In the third session, "anchor" technique of neurolinguistic programming is used involving formation of indifferent, neutral, and calm attitude to food upon stress.
EFFECT: achieved stable long-term decrease of the weight by way of forming new rational eating behavior stereotype.
