FIELD: tool manufacture. SUBSTANCE: ground-coat enamel slip is applied to the prepared surface of the metal body of a tool. Then drying is performed and the body is roasted at the temperature of 880 -900 C. Then cover-coat enamel slip is applied to the working part of the body on which abrasive grains are located. The body is dried and roasted at the temperature of 800-820 C, and after that the unfastened abrasive grains are removed.
