FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves sorption of sorbic acid by sewage passing through the layer of polyethylene-polyamine weak-base anion-exchange resins. Obtained filtrate is fed for biological treatment, where sorbic acid concentration must not exceed 5 ml/l. following by regeneration of anion-exchange resins. Regeneration process involves periodical closed-type circulation up to value pH 7.0-7.3 by regeneration solution following by washing of anion-exchange resin with water by countercurrent with regard to alkali solution circulation. Sorbic acid is precipitated from obtained regeneration solution with hydrochloric acid at 4-10 C following by recrystallization of sorbic acid at 93 C in the presence of charcoal at molar ratio sorbic acid: charcoal = 1: 2. EFFECT: improved method of sorbic acid isolation. 4 cl, 1 dwg
