FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has a drying chamber with a cover with means for vertical movement and a base with a working table for laying the semifinished product. The drying chamber also has a tightening seal, a branch pipe for removing wet steam, a heat-transfer agent feed device, and a semifinished product plane tension mechanism with a drive and clamps. This mechanism has two symmetrical identical parts located one above the other and fastened to the cover and the base respectively for engagement with each other. Each part has a plate with tension links hinged to its edges and inclined to it. The tension links carry clamping jaws on their free ends, the jaws are mounted for reciprocating perpendicularly to the cover movement. A vertically movable stop is mounted between the links for locking in a specified position. The clamping jaws are interconnected by springs, tension members and a central fastening member.
