FIELD: production of nonwoven materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves making fibers from plastic materials and forming a netting from longitudinally and transversely laid fibers. Before forming the net, the fibers for longitudinal placement are passed between metal rolls to shape them into a tape 3-4 mm thick, 10-15 microns wide. While forming the net, cut-up transverse fibers 10-15 microns in diameter are placed on longitudinal fibers then the layer of placed relatively perpendicular fibers is passed between metal rolls at the temperature of plastic deformations of cut-up fibers. Said rolls spaced at a clearance of 10 microns flatten transverse fibers and force them into longitudinal fibers at points of their intersection. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl
