ELECTRIC HEAT PIPE-LINE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2009589 C1

FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: two conductors with large cross-section have to be aluminum or copper pipes which are used to pass through heat-transfer agent (liquid or gas). This heat-transfer agent cools the conductor and goes away into heat exchanger, for example, for transmitting heat from the conductor to consumer. Conductors are put coaxially into two flexible envelopes filled with pressed gas; the gas has high electric strength. Monorail is disposed between flexible envelopes of two conductors for moving two-wheel electric motor car long it. Any flexible envelope is formed by several layers of glass-fiber cloth impregnated with gas-proof or moisture-proof compound. Internal and external flexible envelopes are connected together by lateral and longitudinal belts. Glass-fiber stranded wires are attached to the point of intersection of these belts. These stranded wires align flexible envelopes relatively the conductor. The conductor is supported by straps which are fixed in circular clutches. The clutches are mounted onto supports. Heat evolved by electric heat pipe-line when electric current passes through it, is used for heating hotbed by means of two units. EFFECT: transmission of large power for long distances. 9 cl, 7 dwg
