FIELD: engineering. SUBSTANCE: ground sample is placed into compression instrument, compacted by natural load σ, and at same time, built up in it is initial hydrostatic pressure equal to mass of water column above point of ground sampling by steps Δσ and . Filtration coefficient is determined at each pressure step. Then, ground sample is compacted by load P with closed drainage up to stabilization of pore pressure PW. Drainage system is open, and value of drop of pore pressure is measured in time with initial hydrostatic pressure maintained constant. Consolidation factor of ground is calculated by measurement data with due consideration of ground physical properties and Henry solubility factor for gas mixture. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 dwg
