FIELD: wind-electric power engineering. SUBSTANCE: upper surface of pontoon carrying rotor and mounted for displacement along column is flat and horizontal and lower ends of rotor wheels make slit together with this surface; side surface of pontoon is convex-concave and forms breakwater disk together with upper surface. In the event of hurricane storm waves approaching pontoon meet breakwater disk and are transformed into shallow-water layer on upper surface of pontoon which engages lower part of wheels and stalls rotor thereby reducing dynamic loads in transmission. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
