FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device for implementing this method has strain gage transducer shorted out by temperature-depending two-terminal network which is field-effect transistor whose gate is connected with source and temperature-independent supply current source. Temperature compensation is attained by regulating current source until optimum current is obtained as determined by calculation through linear interpolation according to measured values of strain gage transducer sensitivity for two temperatures T1≠T2 and two currents J1≠J2 of current source selected arbitrarily out of working range of strain gage transducer. EFFECT: improved accuracy of temperature compensation within comprehensive range of working temperatures, reduced labour consumption for temperature compensation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
