FIELD: analysis of materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves the steps of: providing a specimen from a core obtained at drilling, weighing it in air and paraffining, weighing the paraffined specimen again in liquid and in air and placing it into an extraction apparatus, disintegrating the specimen after extracting water and hydrocarbons and determining mineralogical rock density and volume of solid phase with further calculating volumes of specimen pores and of specimen itself. Coefficients of porosity and water- and oil-saturation are calculated from expressions given in the invention description. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability.
