Current-conducting crystalline substances are used as sorbent, and a regulated DC potential is applied to the ends of the chromatograph column. High-temperature superconductors, organic superconductors, liquid crystals, non-organic and organic semiconductors, high-temperature oxide electronic conductors and conducting sorbents, for example, graphitized black, activated carbon, are used as current-conducting crystalline substances. Quartz capillary columns with an applied layer of current-conducting sorbent are used as the chromatograph column. Inert gases, compounds in a supercritical state, condensed gases, for example, nitrogen, argon, are used as eluent.
