FIELD: surgery. SUBSTANCE: method consists in dissection of rear side wall of pericardium by semioval incision in respective heart-pericardium space above convexity of respective pulmonary artery, and additional dissection of pericardium side wall, then, artery is bluntly separated up to proximal segmental branches. In so doing, when providing access to right artery, the upper hollow vein is brought down before making semioval incision, and in providing access to left pulmonary artery, before its separation, epicardial ligaments are partially dissected and artery ligament is dissected.
