METHOD OF CHOLEDOCHODUODENONOSTOMY Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: medicine; surgery. SUBSTANCE: method consists in dissection of serous and longitudinal muscular layers of duodenum, separation of circular muscular layer of duodenum into layers along fibers, mobilization of common bile duct from hepatoduodenal ligament at transition fold of peritoneum and application of mechanical clamp suture by elimination of subanastomosis part. Choledodochotomy is made through half the cross-section. Inner row of sutures is used to join edges of choledoch wounds and duodenum submucous layer. Wall of common bile duct is sutured with duodenum serous muscular layer by applying side-to-side anastomosis. EFFECT: reduced terms of healing and prevented purulent cholangitis.
