FIELD: equipment of textile industry. SUBSTANCE: by using three-position rotary carriage the device makes it possible in the first position to install the shaft to be cleaned and sharpened and to remove it after cleaning and sharpening, in the second position to clean the card clothing with narrow cylindrical brush which moves together with housing along axis of rotating shaft being cleaned, with suction through the housing which is linked by flexible hose with fan and with cleaning waste filter; and in the third position the card clothing cleaned in the second position is sharpened with abrasive blocks held in replaceable case, said blocks vibrating along generatrix of rotating shaft being cleaned. Processing positions are changed by turning rotary carriage through 120 deg. and fixing it in each desired position. EFFECT: improved functional and operating characteristics. 2 cl, 2 dwg
