FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: peat is irradiated with IR-radiation. One flux passes through water filter and bulk density is judged from the characteristics of this flux. Humidity of peat is judged from relation of the fluxes - one being reflected from peat and the other which passed through water filter. EFFECT: improved precision of measurement. 1 dwg
