FIELD: physical culture; sport. SUBSTANCE: sensor was disposed in region of general center of mass and person under examination executed several test exercises in consecutive order with alternately loading muscles of legs. Body oscillations were recorded in certain frequency range to allow subsequent assessment of locomotor system state. Additional sensors were arranged in talocrural area and on man's head. Test exercises were actually upward jumps made in series at frequency of 1.0 to 4.0 Hz. Acceleration root-mean-square was calculated with respect to each sensor. State of locomotor system was assessed by way of successive comparisons of magnitudes of gear ratio which was determined by relationship between said magnitudes of root-mean-square of acceleration values and magnitude of root-mean-square of acceleration value defined from indications provided by sensor disposed in talocrural area. EFFECT: more effective diagnosis owing to differential evaluation of state of definite groups of muscles in locomotor action. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
