SUBSTANCE: invention relates to therapy and orthopedics. The stability measurement accompanied by the Romberg's test and interference electromyography (EMG) of femur and tibia muscles involved in the maintenance of vertical rack are carried out. If the paradoxical axis shift of the mass centre is observed coupled with an asymmetrical decrease in EMG amplitude oscillations with the coefficient of more than 1.7 and a decrease in the frequency of oscillation EMG with the coefficient more than 1.6 of concordant type, then we can make a conclusion about the breakdown of locomotor system compensation opportunities in maintaining of body balance. Technical result of the proposed method is to quantify objectively the degree of tension / breakdown of the locomotor system compensatory mechanisms for the malfunction of the knee joint accompanied by pain syndrome.
EFFECT: providing with objective degree evaluation of the joint malfunction.
