FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: researchers carried out emiluminescence analysis of neonate's blood serum incubated with fat emulsion taken in different concentrations and prescribed such daily parenteral nutrition dose of fat emulsion at which it exhibited the most pronounced antioxidant effect. Disclosed method allowed easily selecting optimum daily dose of fat emulsion for parenteral nutrition within one hour without using sophisticated equipment. EFFECT: simpler techniques, less time and avoided complications. 5 tbl
