FIELD: electricity. SUBSTANCE: method involves the steps of: measuring a volumetric density of a specimen to be analyzed, determining oxygen content and content of other components J, Ba, CuO as well and determining a temperature of a superconducting junction, and finally determining thermal conductivity of the analyzed specimen as a function of temperature by substituting the measured values in an approximating thermal conductivity expression given in the invention description. The method is characterized in that an actual content of all the components in ceramics is taken into account thus increasing accuracy in determining thermal conductivity as a function of temperature within a wide working temperature range and first of all at the initial increasing portion of thermal conductivity versus temperature curve.
