SINGLE-COLUMN CRANK PRESS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: single-column crank press has slide positioned in bed guides. Mounted on drive shaft geared with crank shaft are air-operated friction disk clutch and brake with water-cooled disks. Drive gear is seated in middle part of drive shaft and its bearings are mounted on both sides of gear. Clutch power cylinder is hermetically secured on external end face of flywheel, disk of which is provided with eccentrically located axial holes. Brake piston is hermetically fastened to housing and its pressure disk is rigidly connected with power cylinder. EFFECT: simplified inspection and replacement of clutch and brake friction disks. 2 dwg
