SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in the construction of crank press brakes, designed to absorb the energy of the driven part of the press clutch after it is turned off and to hold the actuator together with the drive part in the position corresponding to the upper position of the slide. Brake contains the supporting, leading and pressure discs and drive pressure disc, made in the form of modules. Each module contains mounted with the ability to move the slide, gearbox and end motor with external and internal stators mounted on the frame of the crank press. On the periphery of the pressure disc, recovery modules are installed. Each of the recovery modules is made up of a slide that has the possibility of translational movement from the electric motor, on which a roller and a generator are arranged, which are capable of generating energy for charging supercapacitors.
EFFECT: as a result, the safety of the press is improved.
