FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: to provide reliable connection of inter-car lines and faultless operation of device compressed air is used to assist mechanical efforts when connecting the line. Compressed air is delivered into cylinders from brake lines along flexible air pipes or is delivered into cylinders through nozzle holes. Double alignment of device is provided, i. e. primary and additional alignment. To facilitate replacement of sealing rings in nozzles, pistons with nozzles in cylinders are made detachable. At additional alignment, control of vertical, horizontal and linear displacements of automatic couplers and their inter-car lines is carried out by means of aligning members. Aligning devices of automatic couplers provide possibility of angular and linear displacement of aligning members. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of connection. 3 cl, 4 dwg
