FIELD: vehicles. SUBSTANCE: gear 3 is rotatably mounted on steering column 1 and is connected to steering shaft 4 rotatably mounted in the steering column. Steering wheel 6 is fastened to the upper end of the steering shaft, the lower end of the shaft is connected to steering mechanism shaft 6 by a clutch made in the form of sleeve 7 connected to this shaft on splines. The sleeve has a flat inner end formed by the sleeve hollow bottom. Compression spring 8 is mounted between this end and the end of clutch 6 and is used for clutch engagement. The other end of the clutch is made with a bowl-shaped hollow with end teeth engaged with the end teeth on the end of steering shaft 4 when the clutch is engaged by spring 8. The clutch is moved by section 9 of an electromagnet winding, inductively affecting movable core 10 connected to carrier 11 of sleeve 7. Clutch 12 with a hollow and end gear rim 13 on it is axially movably mounted on the steering shaft, steering shaft 4 is made with a conical projection which has gear rim 14 facing rim 13. Clutch 12 is made with a conical projection and end gear rim 15 on it facing end gear rim 16 on gear 3. Clutch 12 is loaded by springs 17 pressing its gear rim 15 to gear rim 16. Clutch 12 is moved by section 18 of the electromagnet winding, which core 19 is connected to carrier 20 of the clutch, ring-shaped slider 21 engageable with a contact member is mounted in its cavity, the contact member is connected to carrier 20. Slider 21 is electrically connected to the actuator of a front wheel rotation control mechanism. Clutch 12 is connected to carrier 20 by torsion springs 23 providing reverse of the steering shaft to the initial position. Gear 3 is connected to steering shaft 4 through teeth 24 on the steering shaft and gear teeth 25 engaged with them. EFFECT: improved structure. 3 dwg
