FIELD: transport engineering; steering systems of multiple axle vehicles. SUBSTANCE: steering gear of all-wheel-drive vehicle has steering member installed in support connected by brackets with front panel of vehicle body. Shaft projecting from front end of steering member is mechanically coupled with front wheel turning mechanisms. Steering wheel connected with steering member consists of two halves symmetrical relative to longitudinal axis of steering member and mounted for displacement relative to the latter in plane square to its turning plane. Halves of steering wheel have arms parallel to axis of steering member. Arms are mounted in guides for axial displacement. Guides are parallel to axis of steering member. Ends of arms are arranged in one plane and are bent towards each other. Kinematic coupling of steering wheel halves is made on form of gear installed for rotation on axle secured in steering member. Electric coupling of steering member with rear wheel turning mechanism is formed by slider installed on arm 4 engaging with contact plate mounted on steering member. Steering member and its support are located behind front panel of body. Handles are fitted on opposite ends of arms for rotation. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 2 dwg
