FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: angular oscillations of fixture 5 with tested object 6 connected to first mobile element of two-stage gimbal suspension are excited due to gyroscopic effect emerging with application of torque from master unit 9 linked to source 16 of electric oscillations to second mobile element of suspension with which flywheel 13 is connected. First mobile element is manufactured in the form of spider 1 formed with mutually perpendicular beams 2 and 3. Beam 2 coupled to fixture is supported in bearings of base 4, ends of beam 3 carry moment control unit and weight 8 which counterbalances it. Second mobile element of suspension is fabricated in the form of half-frame 10. Flywheel is installed in body 12 mounted on free end vertical rod 11 anchored on half-frame 10. Axles of turning of elements of suspension are placed horizontally and axle of turning of flywheel is mounted vertically and passes through center of suspension.
