FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: investigated signal is compared with reference sinusoidal signal with frequency of first harmonic. Moduli of momentary magnitudes of two signals are determined at definite time moments for different phase shifts between signals and by deviation of these moduli of interrelations degree of presence of higher harmonics in investigated signal is judged.
