FIELD: magnetic recording equipment. SUBSTANCE: in the process of operation of electric motors of the drive and feed units the standard voltage is generated and the reference value of magnetic tape speed is set. The supply voltage is measured and compared with the standard one. The "Deceleration" signal is normalized at a drop of the supply voltage below the standard one, the absolute values of voltages of motor emf of the drive and feed units are summed up. The motor electrodynamic current rise is formed from the summary voltage, which then is used for deceleration of motors to reduce the magnetic tape speed. The magnetic tape speed is measured and compared with the reference value, and at a speed lower than or equal to its reference value a "Stop" signal is produced to stop the magnetic tape. EFFECT: facilitated control. 3 dwg
