FIELD: milk industry. SUBSTANCE: buttermaker has base , two vertical columns mounted on base and provided with bearing supports where shafts of reservoir are inserted. Reservoir is mounted for rotation through electric drive controlled by control unit, with rotational speed of reservoir being continuously varied. Electric engine is joined with reducer positioned within one of the columns. Reservoir has vertical part and two replaceable covers (of a set of covers). Covers are formed as cones with spherical apexes and are positioned at both sides of cylindrical part. Reservoir height including covers is 1.5-2 times as large as diameter of its cylindrical part. Axis of symmetry of reservoir is perpendicular to its axis of rotation. EFFECT: increased efficiency by improved maintenance conditions and wider range of volumes of basic product. 2 dwg
