FIELD: treating radioactively-contaminated materials. SUBSTANCE: products of living organisms, which have been grown on contaminated area and assimilated and accumulated contaminants, are treated with anaerobic bacteria producing biological gas and contaminated slit and water. Areas for arranging contaminated slit and water are selected and prepared. Living organisms, which assimilate and accumulate contaminants, are grown on the areas. Products of the organisms are removed and treated by anaerobic bacteria. As the result biological gas and contaminated silt and water are produced and arranged on selected areas. The cycle repeats until concentration of contaminants on the area to be treated achieves maximum permissible concentration. EFFECT: enhanced biological productivity of the area. 1 dwg
