SUBSTANCE: switching device has in each of m cells one semiconductor element 1 with negative differential resistance, capacitor 2, supplementary semiconductor element 3 with negative differential resistance and diode 4, common wire 5, three phase wires 6, 7, 8, load resistor 9 being placed in series with each of them. Semiconductor elements with negative differential resistance are connected in series by excitation as well as with supplementary semiconductor element with negative resistance.
