FIELD: judicial-medical testing. SUBSTANCE: method concludes in detection of belt of wiping around bullet hole. According to relation of areas of wiping belt disposed on both sides from longitudinal axis of symmetry of the bullet hole the direction of threads is determined in the bore of barrel taking into account the condition that if the area of the right fragment relatively direction of shot excesses over area of the left fragment, the there are right-side direction of threads made in the bore of barrel. If area of the left fragment excesses over area of the right fragment, then there is left-side thread in the bore. EFFECT: improved precision. 6 dwg
